TROY, Ala. – Troy baseball will look to do something Tuesday night they haven't done since 1990. Troy welcomes in-state foe UAB for a midweek game as the Trojans try to win their eighth straight game to start the season. The first pitch is set for 6 p.m. from Riddle-Pace Field.
The 1990 team won a total of 11 straight games to start the season. They finished the year 50-10 overall and 9-3 in the GSC. They would go on to compete in the NCAA division two regionals.
Originally scheduled to be played in Birmingham, the game was moved to Troy after new turf at UAB's field had not been installed.
