Trojans Get ‘Stronger’ in Exhibition

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team played it's one and only tune-up contest against Brazilian side, Uninassau, falling 92-71 on Tuesday at Trojan Arena.

Uninassau opened on an 18-4 run and never looked back as the visitors, some with international competition experience, shot 49 percent from the field and 8-for-18 from 3-point range.

The Trojans were led by Amanda Mendoza, who finished with 13 points. Claresa Banks and Jayla Chills both finished in double-digits with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
