TROY, Ala. – Troy looks to continue its best start in school history as it hits the road to Texas for its last two cross-division matches of conference play. The Trojans will square off with Texas State Friday at 6:30 p.m. and UTA Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
The Trojans (15-3, 5-1 Sun Belt) are seeking their first win over West division-leader Texas State (14-7, 6-1 Sun Belt) in school history. Troy is 4-0 against Sun Belt West division teams this season.
"We're excited for this weekend's challenge," head coach Josh Lauer said. "Texas State is one of the best teams in the conference right now, they're defending conference champions and we're excited to see where we stack up.
