TROY — The biggest name on Troy’s signee list Wednesday went through some extensive vetting, coach Neal Brown said, before the Trojans fully welcomed him.
Safety Will Sunderland, who was kicked off the team at Oklahoma after an arrest last summer, is transferring to Troy.
“We felt good about Will. … We felt great about the family,” Brown said Wednesday.
