JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Double-digit strikeouts and 10 runners left on base proved to be the difference for Trot as the Trojans (5-3) fell to Jacksonville (6-1) in the series finale Sunday afternoon from John Sessions Stadium.
Leading the Trojans was Brandon Schrepf, who finished with two hits, an RBI, and a run scored in his second consecutive game starting in center field. Clay Stearns and Easton Krik each picked up an RBI, with Stearns getting his third of the series.
Early on, a Pitching duel ensued as Bay Witcher (1-1) and Christian Graham (1-0) went toe to toe on the mound.
