BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Troy's men's and women's track and field teams took down several Sun Belt Conference foes in both team and individual scoring yesterday at the Jaguar Invitational hosted by South Alabama within the Birmingham CrossPlex facility.
Led by noteworthy performances from the underclassmen amid a small travel squad, the Trojan women outscored UL Lafayette and ULM, while the men eclipsed Little Rock.
"We did many things well this weekend – there were a lot of personal bests and big highlights of the season," head coach Marc Davis said. "As a team, we have to learn how to compete better in scoring situations.
