Players from Troy's 1986 national championship team will have a reunion during the Trojans' home weekend series against New Orleans.
They will still carry an uncommon bond that was forged during the course of winning a national title.
“What’s enjoyable is that it’ll be just like any other Friday night we had when we were playing,” said Mike Elmore, a junior outfielder on the team. “We’ll still joke around and have fun – just like we did on Friday nights 30 years ago.”
It has been 30 years since that team captured the first of two national titles under head coach Chase Riddle.
