TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's basketball team defeated Coastal Carolina 104-59 Friday night inside Trojan Arena while moving into first-place in the Sun Belt Conference East Division Standings. Troy's 45-point margin of victory was its largest margin of victory in a Sun Belt Conference game since beating Ga. Southern by 41 back on Dec. 29, 2017.
Troy (8-4, 4-1 SBC), shot 45 percent (38-for-84), its fifth best percentage of the season while holding Coastal Carolina (3-6, 0-5 SBC) to just 39 percent (23-59), its third-best shooting percentage of the season.
