The Trojans officially signed three wide receivers – including former Auburn Tiger Dominic Walker – a quarterback and an offensive lineman on Wednesday. Troy is also expected to ink Elba High quarterback Ramsey Rigby soon as the mid-year signing period, where early high school graduates and junior college transfer officially pick their Division I schools, continues.
“In year one, most of our transfers were on the defensive side, and they paid dividends as we had one of the biggest turnarounds in the nation,” Trojans head coach Neal Brown said in an interview with the Dothan Eagle. “As we looked at it, we definitely had needs on the offensive side this year.
