TROY, Ala. -- The two-time defending Alabama Class 6A Player of the Year is heading to Troy this fall, as Pinson Valley standout Kameron "Kam" Woods has signed his National Letter of Intent head coach Scott Cross announced Friday morning.
The 2018 Alabama Class 3A Player of the Year at Midfield high school, Woods spent the last two seasons at Pinson Valley high school where he led the Indians to the 2019 Alabama Class 6A title a year ago, before losing an overtime heartbreaker in the quarterfinals this season (76-74). Woods was named the Alabama 6A Player of the Year three times.
