TROY, Alabama – Troy ran roughshod over Appalachian State in a 95-66 victory on Thursday in Trojan Arena.
Five Trojans scored in double figures and the team hit 11 three-pointers as App State trailed the entire game. Troy led by as many as 33 and was led by , who scored 15 of her game-high 19 points in the first half.
The Trojans (21-7, 12-5 SBC) have now won six straight in the all-time series with the Mountaineers, while Rivers has averaged 17.8 points in the last four meetings.
Appalachian State struggled from the field early making just 6-of-25 shots in the first period.
