Nose guard Trevon Sanders, bandit linebacker Hunter Reese, cornerback Blace Brown and safety Cedarius Rookard played a lot of football for the Trojans over the past four seasons.
Since National Signing Day, two more key defensive contributors have departed – playmaking defensive back Marcus Jones from Enterprise and linebacker Tron Folsom, who led the Trojans in tackles the past two seasons.
Lindsey didn’t comment on those departures specifically in a recent interview, saying only, “Each of them had a different situation.”
But the second year of the NCAA Transfer Portal continues to bring up some perhaps “unintended consequences.
