TROY, Alabama – The Troy University soccer head coach Jason Hamilton announced the addition of Colorado transfer Alex Huynh on Friday.
Huynh played over 4,200 minutes in 55 games on the back line for the Buffaloes. Last season, the Australian native helped anchor a defense which posted a 1.32 goals-against average and played the full 90 minutes in Colorado's 1-0 victory over Denver to clinch the Colorado Cup. In 2013, she was the only freshman to start all 23 games.
"Alex is a great edition so close to the start of the season, we know she had a lot of schools interested and we are very happy she chose to come to Troy to finish her playing career and education," Hamilton said.
