MOBILE, Alabama – Troy's men's track and field team won seven events and the women's squad won three at this weekend's Jaguar Opener hosted by South Alabama.
"There were a number of good performances this weekend at our first outdoor meet," director Mark Davis said. "We competed hard and fought for scoring positions. For many of the men, it was their first competition this year, and we only brought a select amount of women to the meet to provide some of our recent Sun Belt competitors with additional recovery. Overall, I'm happy with how the weekend went.
