TROY — Troy receiver Khalil McClain and running back DK Billingsley carefully considered their choices.
Independent of each other, they mentally reviewed Troy’s roster before quickly settling on one teammate.
The question: With Halloween coming, which teammate least needs a costume to scare people?
Hey, offensive lineman Tristan Crowder, congratulations?
“He doesn’t need a costume,” Billingsley said.
Crowder, a senior right guard who will make his 32nd career start Saturday when the Trojans play at Coastal Carolina, was the unofficial winner of an annual nowhere-near-serious survey.
“I’m going with Tristan Crowder,” McClain said.
