TROY — The Troy Trojans say they don’t consider last week’s early-season open date too much of an advantage.
The Trojans, after opening the season Aug. 31 with a win over Campbell, sat last weekend. They host Southern Miss at 5 p.m. Saturday.
“You’re not really beat up enough as a team to get a benefit (health-wise), and you don’t have enough information on your opponent to get a jump on it,” Troy defensive coordinator Brandon Hall said.
“You kind of work on yourself.
