TROY, Ala. -- B.J. Miller scored his only points in the final minutes of the game to help Troy secure a 73-67 win over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday afternoon.
Louisiana-Monroe's Travis Munnings and Sam McDaniel nailed consecutive 3s to close to 66-63 with 1:46 left. Miller scored the first of his nine points on a layup before McDaniel drained his trey. Miller followed with a 3-pointer and made two free throws for a 71-63 lead with 39 seconds remaining. He added two more free throws with 12 seconds left to seal the victory.
