PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania – Highlighted by three top eight finishes from the throwers, the Troy outdoor track and field team wrapped up regular season play at the Penn Relays on Saturday.
The highest finish from any Trojan was fourth and was claimed by junior Zach Douglas in the shot put competition. His best throw was a 17.54-meter toss that placed him ahead of throwers from Duke, Florida State and Farleigh Dickinson.
On the women's side, Jaevyn Wortham and Corina Cox both finished in the top five in the discus throw. Wortham finished fourth with a 48.
