TROY, Alabama – Leanna Johnson and Katie Webb were named All-Sun Belt First Team while Bailey Taylor was tabbed All-Sun Belt Second Team. Johnson also was dubbed the league's Freshman of the Year, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Leanna Johnson has dominated in the circle for the Trojans this season. The freshman ranks in the top 10 in school history in victories, strikeouts, innings pitched and shutouts. The Brantley, Alabama native also ranks eighth nationally in victories with 25, 18thnationally in strikeouts with 224 and 22ndnationally in shutouts with seven.
