TROY, Ala. – Thirteen Troy University student-athletes were among the more than 700 students who received their degrees during Troy's fall commencement exercises Friday in Trojan Arena.
Five of Troy's athletic programs were represented in the first commencement ceremony of the 2018-19 academic year. Troy student-athletes continued their record-setting performance in the classroom with an 85 percent Graduation Success Rate (GSR) in the latest report issued by the NCAA. This comes on the heels of Troy student-athletes set a record in last spring's NCAA APR release.
Seven of Troy's 12 programs ranked in the top three among its peers in the Sun Belt in GSR with the men's golf, women's golf and volleyball programs posting perfect 100 percent marks.
