Super Bowl 50: How did the state's players fare in Sunday's NFL title game?

Denver Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware played in the Super Bowl for the first time in his 11-season NFL career on Sunday. He made sure he came away with a victory.

Ware recorded two sacks and hit Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton four times as the Broncos posted a 24-10 victory in Super Bowl 50.

Ware and Newton were two of the nine players who played for an Alabama high school or college football who played in Super Bowl 50.
