Locals will get an up-close look at a team that battled Duke valiantly in the NCAA Tournament this week when Troy makes its annual visit to the Dothan Civic Center.
The Troy men’s basketball team will make its fourth-consecutive trip to the Circle City for a matchup against Milligan College of Tennessee at 6 p.m. Thursday. The annual trips were created as a way to extend the Trojans’ brand during Troy’s winter break by bringing events to one of the program’s key markets.
Team and city officials both believe the fourth iteration may produce the largest crowd for a variety of reasons, including the Trojans’ wild success on the court last year.
