JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Troy finished on a 15-0 run to pull away from East Tennessee State, 84-66, on Monday in Brooks Gym.
Kayla Robinson scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting, Tyra Johnson was red-hot from beyond the arc sinking six 3-pointers in the game, and Jasmine Robinson added 15 points highlighted by a trio of threes.
Troy (3-1) got off to a sluggish start, but quickly turned it around. After falling behind, 7-2, the Trojans hit four consecutive 3-pointers – two by Johnson – to spark a 15-2 run.
