AUBURN, Alabama – The Troy women's tennis team saw its three-match winning streak snapped on Saturday in a 7-0 decision at No. 40 Auburn at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
Troy (3-2) was schedule to play its home opener yesterday against Alabama State, but that match was moved to mid-February as the Trojans then had to take their winning streak to No. 40 Auburn.
The Tigers (5-1) won two doubles matches by 6-0 scores to take the opening point. They then went on to win all six singles matches in straight sets to grab the win.
Troy will remain in Auburn on Sunday and take on UT Martin in a neutral court match.
