Running back DuJuan Harris has been on the rosters of eight NFL teams. His current team, the San Francisco 49ers, has cut him three times in the past two months. But on Sunday, the former Troy standout started for the 49ers and scored his first touchdown since the 2012 season.
San Francisco lost to the New Orleans Saints 41-23, but Harris ran for 59 yards on 10 carries and caught five passes for 83 yards. His 47-yard reception with 5:56 left in the first half was the first touchdown catch of his career and his first NFL touchdown since he ran for two for the Green Bay Packers in the regular season and two more in the playoffs in 2012.
