Cornerback Jonathan Jones and safety Brandon King are core special-teamers for the New England Patriots, so they aren't usually in the spotlight. But they made two of the biggest plays -- one on special teams and one on defense -- in the Patriots' 21-13 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Jones came up the first interception of his career, and King turned in a safety on a Los Angeles punt return.
The game ended with the football in Jones' hands.
With the Chargers trailing by eight points with no timeouts, Los Angeles quarterback Philip Rivers completed a 13-yard pass and got his team to the line in time to spike the ball at the New England 23-yard line with one second to play.
