State NFL roundup: Bobby McCain's interception comes at just the right time for Miami Dolphins

Former Oxford High School standout Bobby McCain picked an opportune time to make his first NFL interception of the 2017 season.

The Miami Dolphins cornerback picked off a pass by New York quarterback Josh McCown and returned it 6 yards to the Jets' 17-yard line. After an illegal-block penalty was marked off, Miami had the football at the New York 27 with 39 seconds left to play and the score tied.

"He left the ball out there, so I went and got it," McCain said. "Just dropped underneath a comeback (route).
