Seventy-one players from Alabama and Auburn appeared on NFL active rosters during the 2015 season. But they weren't the only players with football roots in the state who played during the NFL's most recent campaign.
Fifty-seven players who went to Alabama high schools and colleges (but not Alabama or Auburn) appeared in NFL regular-season games in 2015.
Two went all the way: Darian Stewart and DeMarcus Ware were starters for the NFL's No. 1 defense and helped the Denver Broncos win Super Bowl 50.
