PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Edita Sklenska highlights Troy's first day at the 126th annual Penn Relays at Franklin Field, snapping her own school record in the women's 1500-meter run on Thursday.
Sklenska was one of just three Trojans to compete on day one of the Penn Relays, finishing ninth in the 1500-meter run. The junior's record-breaking performance of 4:21.94 tops her previous school record set on March 19 at the Tiger Track Classic - 4:25.02. In just her second time competing in the event, Sklenska was atop of her heat, defeating Temple's Laura Nicholson.
Morgan Reese found himself just one spot short of a top-10 finish in the men's hammer throw.
