TROY, Ala. – Highlighted by five first teamers, Troy indoor track and field was represented by six student-athletes on the All-Sun Belt teams, the league office announced Thursday. Tiarra Bailey, Gemma Finch, Tanner Guest, Madison Kennedy and Precious Ogba were named to the first team, while Samara Nelson earned third team honors.
Troy had more first team all-conference players than any other school after sweeping the two relays at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships last Monday and Tuesday. The women's distance medley relay team – Finch, Kennedy, Bailey and Guest – set a school record on its way to claiming the championship with a run of 11:47.
