TROY, Ala. – Coming off back-to-back top-four finishes, Troy's ShaeLee Scarberry has been named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Thursday.
Scarberry finished second at 2-under par at the Hoover Invite last week and followed that with a tie for fourth at the Sea Best Jacksonville Classic at 2-over par earlier this week. Scarberry carries a 0.44 score vs. par through nine rounds this season.
A junior from Purcell, Okla., Scarberry shot under par in the final two rounds of the Hoover Invite with a 71 and 70 on her card.
