TROY, Ala. – After a four-game road trip, the Trojans return home to Riddle-Pace Field Tuesday for a midweek clash against Samford. The first pitch between the Trojans and the Bulldogs is set for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
This will be the 23rd straight year these two in-state opponents have matched up with one another. The series dates back to 1957. Troy holds a 45-26 overall record against Samford while going 27-7 when games are played in Troy.
The Trojans will be looking to make it two wins in a row over Samford after winning last season's matchup in Birmingham 10-8.
