In between, the Trojans enjoyed plenty of much-needed rest.
“That last stretch of the season was really, really tough on us. We played the “big three” as we call it – (Appalachian) State, (Arkansas) State, Georgia Southern,” senior defensive end Rashad Dillard said. “You’re banging each week hard because you’ve got running teams, and they have great schemes.
