TROY — Kyler Knudsen found his mother already in tears, her emotions showing after her son not only made his first career start for the Troy Trojans but also played well.
Knudsen made her cry even more — and made his dad cry, too.
He had barely processed it all himself, the news that coach Neal Brown shared in the locker room last weekend following Troy’s 26-16 home win over Louisiana-Lafayette.
