Red-Hot Trojans Return Home for Thursday Night Contest Against Jacksonville State

TROY, Ala. -- The Troy Trojans soccer program returns home for game against in-state rival Jacksonville State Thursday night at the Troy Soccer Complex.

Off to the program's best start since 2009, the Trojans remained unbeaten turning in a pair of gutsy performances at the Jaguar Classic hosted by South Alabama.

On Friday, Troy overcame an early 2-1 deficit to drop former Atlantic Sun rival Stetson 3-2. In the match, senior Kiersten Edlund scored the game-winner directly off a corner kick to give the Trojans the lead for good. Freshman Caroline Tully recorded her first career point, while classmate Melissa Kuya-Strobel scored for the second time.
