C.J. Carter earned a promotion to the Marlins' Advanced Class A squad Jupiter Hammerheads where he has posted a 1.23 ERA through his first six games. In his last 10 appearances dating back to his time with the Clinton LumberKings, the Atlanta, Ga. native has struck out 17 batters in 15.2 innings. Carter has been especially tough against right-handers, posting a .190 average against and a .83 WHIP.
Logan Hill's hot-hitting month of May earned him a promotion to Pittsburgh's Triple-A affiliate, the Indianapolis Indians.
