Online voting began this week for the NFL's annual Pro Bowl, with 53 players with Alabama football roots on the ballot.
Alabama's high schools and colleges are especially well-represented on the cornerbacks list, with eight state players among the choices.
The state players on the fans' ballot come from nine colleges and 26 high schools, including three from Vigor in Prichard. Alabama has 14 former players on the ballot, Auburn 10, Troy three, West Alabama two and Alabama A&M, Alabama State, North Alabama, Samford and UAB one apiece.
