TROY – Troy running back B.J. Smith credits his streak of 100-yard rushing games – now at a school-record five straight – with the continuing development of the Trojans’ offensive line.
“I feel like every week they get better and better,” Smith said. “Again, that goes back to the way they are preparing. They are just playing with an extreme amount of confidence right now. They are getting better and better each day.”
Quarterback Sawyer Smith didn’t have to think long for an answer when asked about his linemen.
“I got hit one time in (Saturday’s) game and it was probably my fault,” the quarterback said earlier this week.
