TROY, Ala. – For the third straight game, the Troy offense put up double-digit runs as the Trojan bats exploded for 22 runs on 19 hits Saturday afternoon at Riddle-Pace Field en route to a 22-5 victory over Texas State to claim their third straight Sun Belt Series.
It is the first series victory for Troy (28-12, 10-7) over the Bobcats (25-15, 9-8) since 2019. Troy continues climbing the conference standings as they now sit in third place in the Sun Belt and can move up to second by the night's end.
All nine starters had a hit, as three Trojans recorded five RBIs.
