Cheerleading Tryout Information
TROY, Alabama – Nic Laracuente has been named Troy University's cheerleading and mascot head coach, Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain announced Wednesday. Laracuente joins the Troy staff after most recently serving as the head cheerleading coach at Auburn University–Montgomery. He is also the co-owner of Bama Blaze Elite Cheer in Montgomery, Alabama.
Laracuente brings a championship pedigree as he was a member of Louisville's NCA College Nationals runner-up team and was also a NCA College Nationals Partner Stunt champion in 2014. As an assistant coach, he helped guide Akron's cheer program to its first UCA College Nationals Finals appearance.
