Several of the Trojans’ big plays – especially at wide receiver – came from freshmen or junior college transfers on a day where explosive plays on both sides were plentiful. Trojans head coach Neal Brown said freshman running back Jabir Frye and freshman wide receiver Sam Letton had the strongest days.
“The two things that stood out to me about that scrimmage offensively were Sam Letton and Jabir Frye,” Brown said. “Both of them are ready. Both of them are going to be in the mix a lot.”
