“I can’t explain how excited I am,” Troy’s new head coach said in a recent interview before his first spring practice leading the Trojans. “It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been here right at two months now. We’re just really excited to get our hands on our guys on the field.”
The Trojans hold the first of 15 spring workouts – ending with the annual T-Day Game April 20 – Tuesday afternoon. Troy practices will be Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for the next five weeks.
There isn’t a coach in America that downplays the value of spring practice.
