TROY – Following the first season of moderate turnover on his staff, Troy head coach Neal Brown celebrates what three new assistant coaches are bringing to the Trojans.
“Sean Dawkins brings a ton of passion. We needed a little fire on offense,” Brown said after Tuesday’s practice. “Brandon (Hall) has been associated with winning programs his entire career. He’s a high-energy guy. Brian Blackmon was a high school coach a long time. I like guys with head coaching experience. It’s good to have someone to bounce ideas off.”
Naturally after a 21-5 record in the past two seasons, other teams began to pursue assistants on Troy’s staff.
