TROY – It’s been less than three weeks since Chip Lindsey was introduced as Troy’s head football coach on Jan. 11.
In that time he’s hired a full on-field staff, filled key support staff roles, traveled to meet with as many early signees as possible, worked to finish the 2019 recruiting class as strong as possible, started evaluation on the class of 2020 and watched film of his current players during his “free time.”
Oh, and he’s bought a house, which he moves into a week from Saturday.
No wonder the coached summed up his first impression on the job as “fast and furious.
