New Troy coach Chip Lindsey names offensive and defensive coordinators

TROY – New Troy head football coach Chip Lindsey announced the hiring of his coordinators on Monday afternoon – one a promotion from Neal Brown’s staff and the other a former All-American lineman at Auburn.

Ryan Pugh, 30, a four-year starter at Auburn, is the Trojans’ offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.

Brandon Hall, who turns 43 on Tuesday, is the Trojans’ new defensive coordinator. He coached Troy’s outside linebackers and was special teams coordinator last season.

Pugh returns to Alabama after one season at BYU as its offensive line coach. The starting center on Auburn’s 2010 national championship team, Pugh also has coaching stops at LSU, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Auburn and Texas-San Antonio.
