After eight years off, The Battle for Palladium is set to resume Saturday as Troy comes to Floyd Stadium.
This is the first of two scheduled meetings between Middle Tennessee State (0-1) and Troy (0-0) this season. MTSU travels to Troy on Nov. 21.
MTSU opened the season with a 42-0 loss at Army.
The two schools first played each other in 1936 with MTSU winning that game 19-0. MTSU holds a 12-8 series lead over Troy despite losing seven of the last 10 meetings. The Blue Raiders won the last meeting in 2012, 24-21
