Troy fans in Montgomery in need of Trojan gear will soon be able to find it.
The Trojans are close to reaching an agreement that will greatly improve the supply of T-shirts, caps and other apparel and merchandise in the city, chancellor Jack Hawkins Jr. said Tuesday.
“Obviously, there’s a need,” Hawkins said. “Where there’s a need, there has to be a way to fill it.”
Hawkins and football coach Neal Brown said they have heard from fans that there is a dearth of Troy gear available in Montgomery. Brown said he’s often asked about it at the city’s annual TrojanTour stop each summer.
