TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team will open the Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Friday against UT Arlington. The Trojans and Mavericks quarterfinals match is set to begin at 1 p.m. (CT) in Peachtree City, Ga. at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
Troy will enter the 20201 SBC Tournament as the No. 2 seed while UTA will be the No. 7 seed. Troy earned the second seed after posting a Sun Belt best, 19-3 overall record and a 3-2 record inside the conference. The Mavericks, who didn't play a single Sun Belt match this season, posted a 7-10 overall record but played one of the tougher schedules in the Sun Belt that featured six matches against nationally ranked opponents, including the second ranked Baylor Bears.
