TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team completed its weekend Sun Belt sweep by stunning No. 48 Louisiana Sunday morning at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. The Trojans moved to 8-1 at home on the year with the victory.
Emotions were running high from the start as the doubles point came down to a classic battle on court three after Troy (15-9, 2-3) and Louisiana (17-4, 4-2) split on court one and court two by matching 6-1 scores.
Troy's combo of Carles Anton and Vito Llinares found themselves down 4-2 in the deciding pairing before mounting a furious rally to win four straight games and take the match 6-4.
