TROY, Ala. – After playing 13 of its first 15 spring matches away from home, the Troy men's tennis team opens a three-match homestand this weekend by hosting Southern Miss on Saturday (11 a.m.) and Chattanooga on Sunday (12 p.m.) at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
Troy (9-6) is playing some of its best tennis of the year, even if the results haven't tilted in the Trojans' favor. Rolando Vargas' squad took No. 24 Florida State to the brink last Friday in a 4-3 tussle that saw the two deciding singles matches go into three sets.
